Nature of Services
a. I provide professional natural hair care, styling, treatment, and education based on current techniques and products. Results vary by hair type, condition, and client adherence to aftercare.
b. No Guaranteed Outcome
While I aim for the best possible results, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes (color match, curl pattern, length retention, texture change, longevity of style, or product performance).
c. Consultation & Disclosure
Clients must disclose medical conditions, scalp sensitivities, allergies, chemical treatments, hair loss, recent procedures, medications, or any other factors that may affect service safety or results. A consultation and strand/patch test may be required.
d. Patch/Strand Test & Allergies
I recommend and may require a patch/strand test for chemical services. The client assumes responsibility for adverse reactions if they decline testing or fail to disclose allergies/medical history.
Product Use & Reactions
e. I use professional products and/or client-provided products. I am not responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or damage resulting from client-supplied products or ingredients not disclosed prior to service.
f. Pre-Existing Conditions & Hair Damage
I am not liable for pre-existing hair damage, breakage, scalp conditions, or changes that occur as a result of prior chemical or mechanical treatments. Certain services may exacerbate existing issues; I will advise against services that pose risk.
g. Aftercare & Maintenance
Proper aftercare and maintenance are critical. I will provide instructions; failure to follow them may affect results and is the client’s responsibility.
Photos & Social Media
h. I may take photographs for consultation, records, and promotional use unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Minors
i. Clients under 18 must have a parent/guardian present and sign consent.

Cancellations & Refunds
j. Cancellation and refund policies will be provided separately. Refunds are not guaranteed for dissatisfaction due to unrealistic expectations or failure to follow aftercare.

Liability Limitation
k. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from services. Liability for direct damages is limited to the cost of the service provided.
